The question comes up in almost every first conversation, and the honest answer starts with "it depends". But "it depends" helps nobody prepare a budget. So here are the ranges we see in 2026 on the Tunisian market, and above all what moves a project from one range to the next.
Price ranges in 2026
| Type of site | Observed range | Usual timeline |
|---|---|---|
| Showcase site, 5 to 8 pages, one language | 1,500 to 4,000 TND | 2 to 4 weeks |
| Multilingual showcase site (FR / AR / EN) with blog | 4,000 to 9,000 TND | 4 to 8 weeks |
| Online shop (catalogue, payment, delivery) | 8,000 to 25,000 TND | 8 to 14 weeks |
| Custom site with client area or business tool | from 15,000 TND | on quote |
These amounts cover design, development, integration of the content you provide and going live. They do not cover copywriting or professional photography, which are often underestimated.
What moves the quote
The number of languages. A three-language site is not three times more expensive, but every page must exist three times, be translated and be declared correctly to Google (hreflang tags, sitemap per language). Expect 30 to 50 % more than a single-language site.
Design. A template adapted to your colours costs little. An identity created from scratch, with mock-ups validated screen by screen, is a significant share of the budget.
Features. Contact form and appointment booking are standard. Client area, online quotes, connection to existing software or online payment are each priced separately.
Search engine optimisation. A technically clean site (speed, tags, structured data) should be included. Content and positioning work is an ongoing service.
Recurring costs to plan for
- Domain name: a
.tnor.com, a few dozen dinars a year. - Hosting: from 150 TND a year for a shared showcase site to several hundred dinars a month for a high-traffic shop. We explain the criteria in choosing web hosting in Tunisia.
- Maintenance: security updates, backups, small changes. A monthly plan avoids finding the site broken six months later.
Three signs a quote deserves questions
- No questions about your business before pricing: the price corresponds to nothing.
- No clear ownership of the domain name and the code: you must be able to leave with your site.
- "SEO included" without saying what is actually done.
How we quote
At Semocode, a website quote starts with a 30-minute conversation to understand who the site is for and what it should trigger (a call, a quote request, an order). Our plans give reference points, and each quote details what is included, page by page. Ask for yours: it is free and without commitment.
